OKLAHOMA CITY — The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America announced today that UL's Christi Orgeron is among the 17 Women’s National Team athletes and four coaches who will comprise the USA Softball delegation for the XVI Pan American Games. The multi-sport event is Oct. 14-30 in Guadalajara, Mexico, with softball competition scheduled for Oct. 17-23.

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley softball head coach Amy Hayes completed her coaching staff, announcing Chris Malveaux has joined the Braves as assistant softball coach. The one-time head coach at McNeese State, Malveaux has spent the last three years on the coaching staff at the University of Louisiana.

Tuscaloosa AL - University of Alabama Director of Athletics Mal Moore announced Sunday afternoon that UL alumni and softball coaches Patrick Murphy and Alyson Habetz have returned to UA to resume their jobs as head coach and associate head coach, respectively, after leaving on Thursday, June 9, to take the head coaching job at LSU.

Baton Rouge - UL alumni Patrick Murphy and Alyson Habetz have been hired from the University of Alabama to head the LSU softball program. Murphy replaces his former boss and Habetz' former coach, NFCA and Louisiana Hall of the Fame coach Yvette Girouard, also a UL alumna and former Cajuns head coach.
