Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Department is proud to announce that two student-athletes have been named the Outstanding Graduate of their respective college at the University of Louisiana for Fall 2009 commencement exercises.

We've just been pasted in back-to-back losses at LSU & NU. The Cajuns haven't scored a touchdown in 10 quarters.

Lafayette, LA – Lynn Williams, the University of Louisiana’s co-equipment manager, was honored this month with the 2009 Glenn Sharp Award, given to the National Equipment Manager of the Year by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.

New Orleans, LA – The Allstate Sugar Bowl has announced its 2008 Greater New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame award winners, who will be honored at the organization’s annual banquet on Saturday, June 6 at the Louisiana Superdome.

LAFAYETTE - The University of Louisiana is among the 35 NCAA Division I members that received certification status on April 16th.

Lafayette – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns saw an incredible 153 student-athletes register a 3.0 GPA or higher during the Fall 2008 semester, almost 40 percent of all student-athletes. Nine of them earned a 4.0.

The Louisiana High School Athletics Association presents the Golden Torch Award to to an individual who exemplifies the meaning of the term “student-athlete,” and who serves as a positive example and role model for today’s high school student-athletes.
