The Ragin' Cajuns soccer team will hit the pitch in Alabama to take on Troy and South Alabama this weekend, starting with a match on Friday against the Trojans and a match on Sunday against the Jaguars. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

University of Louisiana SoccerUL  (1-14,-1, 1-7) leads the series 3-1 against Troy (6-9-1, 2-5) and trail South Alabama (2-13-1, 0-7-1) in the all-time series 5-1-3.

However, the Cajuns last win against the Jaguars came in Mobile back in 2007, a 3-2 victory. In fact, the Cajuns last win against Troy was also in 2007 in Troy, Ala.

These two matches will be the final two games before UL plays Louisiana-Monroe in the final game of the season on Oct. 30 in Monroe, La.

The Cajuns are led by Kelli Jestes on offense with four goals. With her goal against Middle Tennessee last weekend, Jestes moved into sole possession of second place in the UL records books for career goals with 16.

Three other Cajuns have two goals on the season. They are Jordan Belvins, Cayla Chatman and Courtney Hofland.

The Trojans enter the match riding a five-game losing streak.

The Trojans are led by Bridget Duke, who has six goals on the season. She also has three assists. Nikki Stamaris leads the team in assists with six on the season.

In goal, the Trojans are led by Ashley Branham who has 98 saves and a .852 goals against average. She has pitched three shutouts.

The Jaguars have been struggling as of late going 0-9-1 in the last ten matches.

But USA ranks second in saves in the Sun Belt Conference. Jaguar goalkeepers Katie Berry and Cassie Lythjohan have combined for 128 of the team's 134 saves. Berry ranks second in the SBC in saves per game, with an average of 6.46 saves per contest, and ranks fourth in the conference with 84 saves.

The Jaguars are led by Brandi Smith with seven goals. Landi Wilson has three goals on the season, while five other Jaguars have just one goal on the season. Liz Clark leads the team in assists with six.

Smith has five goals during conference play, ranking her  third in the league.
