Jeff and Vida Band and Troy Richard and the Richard Revue -

jeff and vidaVida's powerful vocals and driving 1942 Gibson J-45 guitar with Jeff's rock-n-roll approach to mandolin and guitar gets crowds feet stomping, and "is about as perfect a combination as you're likely to find." Performing original songs spanning from Appalachian bluegrass to alternative country, New Orleans's well-known acoustic roots act Jeff & Vida have recently relocated to Nashville. After three studio recordings and years of rigorous touring nationally and internationally, Jeff & Vida have found a creative musical setting with their newest band. Jeff and Vida's past performances include the Ryman Auditorium, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and the Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival in Ireland, and they were featured in a New York Times article titled Nashville's Band of Outsiders in September 2007.

Michael Juan Nunez CD RELEASE PARTY

'The American Electric' w/ Sons of Voodoo - 8PM
mjnMJN can be seen and heard at venues and festivals throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. Whether he is sharing the stage with artists such as Roddie Romero and the Hub City Allstars, the world renowned Zachary Richard, or the legendary Henry Grey or he is turning up the heat with his band, he is sure to move you. Come see for yourself what the critics and media are raving about.

Drawing from rootsy Cajun and Zydeco, New Orleans funk, Louisiana blues, Classic Soul, and hard pounding Rock n' Roll comes a new group from South Louisiana called The Sons of VooDoo. Comprised of colorful vocal harmonies, fast and smooth guitar licks, rockin' accordion, and an in-the-pocket rhythm section comes a refreshingly original sound, which seems to surprise just about everyone. The group consists of Lane McDonald on lead/slide guitar and vocals, Billy McDonald on accordions, Rhythm guitar, and vocals, Chris Fruge on drums, and a bass player.
