Philipp Fendt posted in the red numbers for the first time this weekend as the Louisiana golf team moved up the leaderboard on the final day of the LSU Invitational. The Cajuns started the day in 10th place but a final round of 303 was good enough for a total of 914 and a seventh-place showing.

Fendt shot 71 (-1) on Sunday, vaulting himself into a tie for 10th place after starting the round in 28th with a total tally of 223 (+7).  Freshman Chris Weninger was consistent once again, shooting 225 (+9) to finish in a tie for 12th place overall.

Chattanooga's Stephan Jaeger claimed individualist honors after shooting even par or better all three rounds to finish at 209 (-7). The Cajuns' individual finishes:
