Friday January 30th

Born in the haunted backwoods of Louisiana where atmosphere plays as much a part of the music as the rich cultural legacy of the South. This isn't alternative, metal, or emo. This is Santeria, a kick out the jams, southern-inflected rock & roll band. Their cultural isolation from the rest of the world has birthed something starkly original, yet catchy-a mix of hard rock, psychedelia, world music, & ghost town blues

"High Performance" is the latest all-star Cajun group to come out of South LA. Reminiscent of the smooth, yet powerful honky-tonk, dancehall sounds of classic Belton Richard, it's pedal to the metal from the first note. Loaded with energy and a repertoire of obscure, classic, dancehall tunes from times past, this group is full of musical surprises and guarantees to keep you rockin' all night! "High Performance" is Jamie Bearb (vocals, fiddle), Steve Riley (accordion, fiddle, vocals), Kevin Dugas (drums), Richard Comeaux (steel guitar), Jason Bergeron (fiddle, accordion), and Brazos Huval (bass).

Come out and enjoy some of the finest Cajun, honky-tonk dancehall music that you've ever heard! Look out for the new, self-titled, live cd coming out in the very near future.
