The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will host its annual Fan Day festivities on Saturday, Feb. 12 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field. Gates will open at 11 a.m.

The event will give fans the opportunity to meet the 2011 Ragin' Cajuns who are the defending champions of the Sun Belt Conference. Head coach Tony Robichaux returns 16 letterwinners - which includes five starters in the field and two starting pitchers - off of last season's squad that advanced to the NCAA Austin Regional.

There will be complimentary hot dogs and Coca-Cola products. The Diamond Darlings will be handing out free autograph books while supplies last. Fans will also be able to pick up Ragin' Cajuns baseball posters and pocket schedules.

Fans will get their first up-close look at this season's Ragin' Cajuns team during an autograph session that will last until 12:15 p.m. In addition to current student-athletes, former Cajuns and current professional players will also be on hand to sign autographs.

The event wraps up with a home run hitting contest at 12:30 p.m., followed by an abbreviated game featuring the Cajuns, Pros and 2010 seniors at 1 p.m.

The UL Bookstore will be on hand for fans interested in purchasing Ragin' Cajuns apparel. Ticket Manager Shivaun Bertrand will be available to handle ticket inquiries.
