Former University of Louisiana standout, Orien Greene, has been called up from the NBA D-League and is expected to sign a contract with the New Jersey Nets.

Greene, who averaged 18.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 24 games with the Utah Flash this season, will sign a 10-day contract with the Nets.

Over his NBA career, he has played in 128 NBA games, including 80 with the Boston Celtics in 2005. He also spent time with the Indianapolis Pacers, the Sacramento Kings and played in Europe.

The Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team, riding a four-game winning streak, returns home on Sat., Feb. 5 vs. UALR at the Cajundome. Tip-off is slated for 7:05 p.m. CT.
