The 14th Annual Medicine Show which raises money for the UL School of Music took place December 18th 2010 at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette.  One of the performers was local guitarist Sonny Landreth, acclaimed by no less than Eric Clapton as "...probably the most underestimated musician on the planet and also probably one of the most advanced."

Along with Landreth, this year's Medicine Show featured two-time Grammy™ Award winners BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet, the Louisiana Purchase Bluegrass Band, recent Grammy™ Award nominee Feufollet, and the UL Wind Ensemble.

This annual benefit concert sends all proceeds into the Dr. Tommy Comeaux Memorial Endowed Fund for Traditional Music at the University of Louisiana.  The Comeaux Fund hit its initial million-dollar fundraising goal at Medicine Show 11, and programs sponsored by the Endowed Chair are now underway on the UL campus. Generous matching funds are still available to contributors, and Medicine Show proceeds will be used to develop and provide additional traditional music programming for university students and enhance community outreach efforts.

In this video are Sonny Landreth (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Dave Ranson (Bass), and Brian Brignac (Drums).  The opening background music is provided by the UL Wind Ensemble.
