Dinner will generate funds for research & development, student societies, conference travel, and technology for the Department

The UL Department of Marketing and Hospitality is hosting its inaugural fundraiser on April 21st, C’est Magnifque: An Evening of Food, Spirits, and Celebration. The fundraiser will support faculty research and development, provide funding for Pi Sigma Epsilon (marketing and sales) students and Hosteurs (hospitality management) students to attend conferences, create scholarships for Marketing and Hospitality Management students, and purchase technology to assist in classroom instruction.

The evening will culminate with both silent and live auctions where guests will bid on items, including autographed New Orleans Saints memorabilia, an autographed Rodrigue painting of Drew Brees and the Blue Dog, weekend excursion, lounge chair, jewelry, gift certificates, and more.

Tickets for the event are $50.00 per person with and can be purchased by contacting the Marketing and Hospitality Department at UL at 482-6347 or 482-6136. Or contact Dr. Geoffrey Stewart at gstewart@louisiana.edu. Tickets are limited.

Of note, the Department has won several recent national awards. Marketing instructor Duleep Delpechitre lead a student sales Team to a Top 15 finish in the nation, and Professor Geoffrey Stewart was recently named one of the Top 10 marketing faculty in the US.
