Robert Lee Golf Tournament June 9 & 10

Inaugural 2008 Robert Lee Celebrity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at The Wetlands

Lafayette, LA, June 9 & 10, 2008: Robert Lee invites you to join him and celebrities at Baja Sports Bar and Grill on Monday June 9, 2008 for the 2008 Robert Lee Celebrity Auction Dinner, and Robert Lee also invite golfers to the Inaugural 2008 Robert Lee Celebrity Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at The Wetlands Golf Course in Lafayette, LA. Golfers who participate will win the satisfaction of helping a charitable organization because the proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Arthritis Association of Louisiana and The UL Rebounder’s Club.

The AAOLA is the only local nonprofit organization providing information, services and support to people with arthritis. Their mission is to improve lives through continuing community service, education and support of research for arthritis and related diseases. The UL Rebounder’s Club was founded by Robert Trahan to help raise discretionary funds for the UL Men’s Basketball Program.

Auction Dinner doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $25 sold at the door. All Sponsors and Registered Golf players get in free. Shotgun scramble time is 8 a.m. The registration fee of $200 ($800 per team) includes the greens fee for 18 holes of golf on the beautiful Wetlands course, a cart, and food and drinks served during the tournament and after they finish their rounds of play.

This year, each golfer who registers will receive a 1 year subscription to Golf Digest or Golf for Women. In addition, there will be prizes for the first and second low score foursome as well as the longest drive, hole-in-one, closest to the hole, and door prizes such as: a Cruise Vacation for Two, Nike Products, and much more!
